Biography

My journey to becoming an attorney was shaped by watching firsthand how the law can positively impact people's lives. Growing up in Versailles, Kentucky, as the son of an employment attorney, I witnessed daily how skilled legal advocacy could help people through their most challenging moments. While I didn't always know I wanted to be a lawyer, seeing my father's fulfilling work helping others eventually drew me to the profession.

Sports and teamwork were fundamental parts of my early life. Throughout high school, I competed in basketball, baseball, and golf, learning valuable lessons about dedication and collaboration that I now bring to my legal practice. This team-oriented mindset led me to join the Kentucky National Guard, where I served as an Infantryman from 2015 to 2021. My military service taught me discipline, leadership, and the importance of standing up for others – skills that prove invaluable in my legal career.

After earning my BS in Business and Economics from the University of Kentucky, I pursued my law degree at UK's J. David Rosenberg College of Law during the challenging years of 2020-2023. I graduated in the top third of my class and served as a staff editor for the Kentucky Law Journal. During this time, I also authored a publication examining the constitutionality of Kentucky's slot machines.

My legal experience was enriched by clerking for the Honorable Judge Samuel Todd Spalding and working as a summer associate at Phillips Parker Orberson & Arnett, PLC in Louisville. These experiences helped shape my understanding of how to effectively advocate for clients while navigating the complexities of the legal system.

Today, I'm proud to practice alongside my father and Tyler at Roark & Korus, PLLC, where we share a commitment to representing both employees and employers in employment disputes. This unique perspective allows me to better serve our clients and work toward fair resolutions that make a real difference in people's lives.

Outside of practicing law, you'll find me pursuing my passion for endurance sports, golf, or cheering on my beloved Bengals and Kentucky Wildcats. These things help maintain the balance and perspective that I bring to my legal practice every day.

My goal is simple: to help people navigate through challenging times while achieving the justice they deserve. Whether representing an employee facing workplace discrimination or helping a business resolve complex employment issues, I'm committed to providing the dedicated advocacy our clients need to move forward.
